"تحليل اقتصادى للواردات الغذائية الأساسية فى مصر فى ظل التغيرات المحلية والدولية"

                يتمثل الهدف الرئيسى لهذا البحث فى تقدير اثر بعض التغيرات المحلية والعالمية على الواردات الغذائية الأساسية فى مصر وهى القمح والذرة الشامية الصفراء وزيوت الطعام والسكر. وتضمنت الرسالة ستة أبواب شامله المقدمة ومشكلة البحث وأهداف البحث والطريقة الجينية ومصادر البيانات، بينما تناول الباب الثانى الإطار النظرى للمتغيرات الاقتصادية والمحلية والعالمية والسياسات الزراعية وبرنامج الإصلاح الاقتصادى كما تناول الاستعراض المرجعى للدراسات السابقة التى تناولت السلع موضع الدراسة كما اختص الباب الثانى بدراسة الوضع الانتاجى الراهن للمحاصيل موضع الدراسة فى إطار السياسات الزراعية والإصلاح الاقتصادى والتركيب المحصولى وتطور الاستهلاك للسلع موضع الدراسة، وتناول الباب الثالث الاهمية النسبية لمساحة مجموعات المحاصيل موضع الدراسة وفى مصر خلا دراسة بعض مؤشرات التغيير فى الإنتاج واستهلاك السلع موضع الدراسة ومقارنتهم معاً وتفسير هذه التغيرات فى ضوء السياسات والتغيرات العالمية، أما الباب الرابع فقد تناول الوضع الراهن للواردات من السلع الغذائية الأساسية والأهمية النسبية للسلع موضع الدراسة فى هيكل الواردات ودراسة اثر المتغيرات المحلية والعالمية وعليها وقياس داله الواردات لهذه السلع، أما الباب الخامس فقد ناقش الهيكل السوقى الجغرافى لواردات مصر من هذه السلع وتقدير معامل الاختراق للمناشئ المختلفة، وتناول الباب السادس معالجة أهداف الدراسة عن طريق تطبيق نموذج متعدد الأسواق، وقد ركزت الدراسة على أربعة سيناريوهات تتطابق مع أهداف الدراسة  .

Summary

The thesis is organized in six chapters including the one for introduction, Chapter two deals with two main sections, the first discusses the major economic changes on both domestic regional and international levels. Chapter three deals with the current production situation of the studied commodities taking into consideration the sub-periods of the study; (1980-1986), (1987-1994) and (1995-2005) the second section in thesis chapter is Studying the commodity self-sufficiency situation with respect to the selected commodities show that while wheat gap witnessed decreasing trend, increasing self-sufficiency, oilseed gap is big on one hand and increasing on the other hand, sugar gap has bean relatively stable. Chapter four discussed the current situation of imports of studied commodities. Detailed discussion dealt with the commodity structure of Egypt's imports, national agricultural trade balance, and origins of imports. Chapter five deals port markets of the studied commodities analysis shows that there have been seamy changes in the relative importance of different origins during the three sub-periods the structure by origin has been studied for the concerned commodities As for wheat, the major origins are USA. Australia, Russia, and France the relative importance of these origins differed between the two periods under study. Chapter Six deals with the application of the multi market model designed to clarify quantitatively specific scenarios with respect to food import policies."
