At the present time Egypt spare no effort to achieve comprehensive economic development through planning development programs. The available human resources can help realize this goal through awareness of the competencies, skills and potentials of these resources .

Curricula of commercial education should respond to the needs of society. To do so the Ministry of Education has introduced curricula of small projects management to create new job opportunities, thus help solve problem of unemployment partially . These curricula provide students with the necessary skills, practice, concepts and information to copy with the requirements of the market.

Teaching the curricula of small projects management, the researcher noticed that these curricula are deficient in providing the vocational training and the skills necessary for the successful management of small projects.

Hence the researcher became aware of the necessity of preparing this research.

The Problem of the research :

The problem of the research outlined in the following point in the light of what has been so far explained and discussed:

The Curricula of Small Projects Management do not provide all the requirements of vocational training necessary for directing small projects.”

This problem posses this the following questions:

1- What are the requirements of vocational training for third year student in small project managemtnt?

2- How much of the requirements vocational training is available in the present curricula?

3- What are the proposed curricula that provide the vocational training necessary for small projects management?

4- To what extent are the proposed curricula effective in the light of teaching one of its units experimentally?

The Hypotheses of the research :

The research aims to providing the validity of the following hypotheses :

1- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores obtained by the experimental group and control group in the pre and post achievement test as a whole.

2- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores obtained by the experimental group and control group in the pre and post achievement test at recall level.

3- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores obtained by the experimental group and control group in the pre and post achievement test at the comprehension level of concepts.

4- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores obtained by the experimental group and control group in the pre and post achievement test at application level.

Limitation of the study :

The study will be limited to the following :

1- Commercial secondary school, three – year system.

2- The pupils of the third year, secondary commercial schools.

3- The feasibility study unit.

Research procedures :

To answer the questions posed by the research , the followign procedures were employed :

First : To answer the first question of the research problem the following procedures were adopted.

1- Reviewing the findings of the previous related researches and studies and related literature .

2- The common objectives of commercial education and the particular ones of the curricula of small projects management.

3- Meeting some responsible from “The Social Fund for Development”.

4- Visiting the “6th October Training Center” To meet the students to identify the training steps and their requirements .

5- Reviewing international attitudes in the field of small business projects and relation to world trade and (G.A.T.T) treaty .

6- Listing down the requirements of vocational training in the form of a questionnaire submitting to juries to ensure their validity.

7- Forming the final listing according to the juries opinions.

Second : In answer to the second question the following steps were taken:

1- Analyzing the present curriculum and listing down its requirements.

2- Comparing the final listing with the listing above mentioned. to discover the difference between the two.

3- Torming a final listing with requirements in the present curriculum after insuring their validity.

Third : Designing the proposed curriculum for small projects management in the light of the requirements of vocational training submitting it to juries to ensure their validity.

Fourth : Measuring the effectiveness of the suggested curriculum from the perspectives of providing students with information, concepts, attitudes, recalling facilities, application , and some skills through:

1- Designing the unit “Feasibility Study” of small projects in the light of the requirements of vocational training. This Includes:

1- Defining the unit objectives.

2- Selecting the unit content.

3- Defining the unit methodology.

4- Defining educational aids an activities.

2- Designing an achievement test.

3- Selecting the research sample from the third year students in the commercial school to apply the tests to them.

4- Administering performance pre test for both experimental and control groups.

5- Teaching the two groups while using the requirements to vocational equipment to the experimental group .

6- Administering performance post – test to both groups.

7- Analyzing data statically, interpreting results and discussing them.

8- Recommendations and suggestions.

Summary of the results :

The conclusion of the research can be briefly stated as follows :

1- The list of the requirements to vocational equipment’s include (12) items; these are branched into (100) elements.

2- There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and control group in the achievement test as a whole (observed “t”=0.122 where as tabular “t”=2.617).

3- There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores obtained by the control group and the experimental group (in favor of the experimental group ) in the achievement test as a whole (observed “t” =11.169) where as tabular “t” = 2.617).

4- There are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores obtained by the control group and the experimental group (in favor of the experimental group ) in the achievement test at the recall, comprehension, and application levels in the achievement test. The observed values of “t” test were recall = (2.719), comprehension = (9.656) and application = (8.0) successfully, where as a tabular “t” = (2.617).

Recommendations :

The Study helped a number of recommendations to be crystallized:

1- Reconsidering the curricula of business education as a whole with a view to apply the principle of the integration of the knowledge.
