The Effect of a Suggested Online Program on Developing English Majors’ Awareness and Essay Writing Skills at the

                                "This study aimed at examining the effect of a suggested online program on developing English majors’ authentic awareness and essay writing skills at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) through investigating the essay writing skills needed to develop, the bases of designing an online program based on authentic learning, and the effect of that suggested online program on developing English majors’ authentic awareness and essay writing skills.

To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher adopted experimental research designs. Three different instruments were used. The researcher designed an online program based on the needed essay writing skills, the standards of designing e-programs, authentic awareness measurement, and essay writing skills test.

Results showed that the English majors’ authentic awareness and essay writing skills are developed."
